The male of this species described from Romania does not belong to Cynipoidea View in CoL but to Proctotrupoidea; in figure 21 of Ionescu (1969), the wing veins and the legs morphology confirm that this specimen belongs to Proctotrupoidea.
The type material is deposited in the MGAB; the manager of the collections of the museum, Melania Stan, has informed us that recently the type material of O. femoralis was studied by Dr. Mattias Forshage, and it belongs to Diapriidae .
