Studied Material. Loc. 22. 2 ex., 1.X.1988 (holotype and paratypes).
This species is currently known only from the type locality, Grotte Istaürdi in Zuberoa-Soule ( Beruete et al. 1994, Beruete 2000a), and although its presence in other cavities in the Arbailak Massif is probable, to date it has not been found, despite several nearby caves have been sampled.
