Stemonitopsis hyperopta (Meyl.) Nann. View in CoL -Bremek.

Represented by two specimens (31307 and 31349), on canopy litter (pH 5.8 and 6.1). This species is widespread in temperate forests of the Northern Hemisphere ( Stephenson 2003), where it is usually associated with decaying wood in montane forests. Stemonitopsis hyperopta was first reported from New Zealand by Rawson (1937).
