Doryphoribius flavus (Iharos 1966) View in CoL

Specimens present sculptured cuticle with polygonal areas over the dorsal body surface and the external side of the legs. On each leg, a gibbosity is present over the double-claws, which have smooth lunules at their base. Mean body size among the 79 specimens collected was 442 μm (SD 97), range 297 to 770 μm. The species has been cited for Europe, Asia, America and Africa. In the Iberian Peninsula, it has been recorded for Spain ( McInnes 1994). This is the first time it is recorded for Madrid ( Table 2 View TABLE 2 ). Doryphoribius flavus appeared in 19 of the sites sampled (Table 3) always in LF samples.
