Description. Fore wing length 2.9–4.3 mm (holotype: 4.3). Antenna with 29–30 (?) flagellomeres. Mesoscutum with only a few punctures along front margin and sometimes along notauli. Scutellum without punctures, all smooth and shining. Mesopleuron with strong and rather dense punctures, smooth in-between; below subtegular ridge smooth and with some punctures, without any parallel, diagonal carinulae. Metapleuron with juxacoxal carina absent or at most a short basal carina. Propodeal areas smooth with strong punctures. Hind coxa coriaceous and matt, with weak punctures. Hind femur length to width ratio 3.8 in male and 3.8–3.9 in female, ventrally with a large tooth that is longer than width of hind tibia at mid length, and adjacent smaller teeth. Hind tibia 1.0– 1.55 mm. Second tergite 2.65–2.9 × longer than wide at base, smooth and shining. Ovipositor 1.85 × as long as hind tibia.

Colouration. Antenna uniformly brown or black, but with some orange below on scape and pedicel. Face black or dark brown with orange inner eye margins and yellow on malar space. Clypeus dark brown with yellow apex. Back of head black or dark brown. Mesosoma entirely orange. Hind femur red-brown, with apex yellow. Hind tibia white or yellow with brown apex and base. Fore wing somewhat infuscate. Tergite 1 black or dark brown with orange base, tergite 2 black, tergites 3 onwards black or brown with wide, light apical bands that are often laterally interrupted by a dark round mark.

Notes. The poor condition of the holotype (metasoma missing) makes the association of the other two specimens with this taxon a bit uncertain. Also, there is some variation between the male and the female specimen. Direct comparison of a larger series of specimens is needed to confirm the interpretation of P. atrifemur .

Material examined. Holotype, Ƌ (metasoma missing), at QM. Label data: 'Hy / 3044' [T3044], ' Pristomerus / atrifemur Gir / Ƌ type', 'HOLOTYPE'.
