Etymology. The acute tooth on the hind femur and long ovipositor give this wasp a dangerous appearance.

Description. Fore wing length 3.8–4.1 mm (holotype: 4.0 mm). Antenna with 28–30 (29) flagellomeres. Mesoscutum with only a few punctures along front margin and sometimes along notauli. Scutellum without punctures, all smooth and shining. Mesopleuron with not very dense punctures, smooth in-between; below subtegular ridge smooth and with only very sparse punctures along the margins. Metapleuron with juxacoxal carina absent or at most a short basal carina. Propodeal areas smooth some sparse punctures. Hind coxa smooth and shining or sometimes weakly coriaceous, with distinct punctures. Hind femur length to width ratio 3.4 in male and 3.65–3.85 (3.85) in female, ventrally with a medium sized tooth almost as long as width of hind tibia at mid length. Hind tibia 1.4–1.5 (1.5) mm. Second tergite 2.3–2.5 (2.5) × longer than wide at base, smooth and shining. Ovipositor 1.55–1.85 (1.85) × as long as hind tibia.

Colouration. Antenna basally orange, remainder brown or black. Head orange, lighter on malar space. Mesosoma including propodeum orange. Hind femur orange with apex yellow. Hind tibia orange to dark brown, outer side often a bit lighter. Fore wing somewhat to rather strongly infuscate, brownish. Metasoma orange, first tergites sometimes with irregular, brown markings.
