Diagnosis (for diagnosis of males of this species, see Jäger 2008: 297). Females of H. jasminae can be distinguished from all other Heteropoda species by the unique combination of a broad and freely visible median septum, anterior bands separated from epigynal field, first windings almost touching each other medially, glandular pores generally posteriad and posterior part of internal duct system longitudinally oval. The female is most similar to H. amphora Fox, 1936 (Jäger 2001: figs 16H–J), but can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters: 1. Median margins of lateral lobes almost running straight, forming a “V” and extending anteriorly beyond copulatory openings (median margins of lateral lobes slightly curved (convex) and just reaching copulatory opening in H. amphora ); 2. Glandular pores reaching posterior margin of first winding of internal duct system (glandular pores clearly not reaching posterior margin of first winding in H. amphora ); 3. First winding and oval posterior part separated from each other (these two parts overlapping in H. amphora ) ( Figs 10A–C View FIGURES 10 ).
Notes. We consider this female conspecific to the holotype male of H. jasminae , because it is from the type locality and it is congruent in size and colouration pattern, especially the light median band of the dorsal prosoma (see Jäger 2008: 299).

Spination: Palp 131, 101, 2121, 1014; Fe I–III 323, IV 331; Pa I–IV 101; Ti I–IV 2026; Mt I–II 0004, III 2024, IV 3036. Measurements of palp and legs: Palp 7.6 (2.2, 1.1, 1.7, –, 2.4); I 19.8 (5.5, 2.6, 5.0, 5.0, 1.6); II 21.4 (6.1, 2.7, 5.4, 5.4,.6); III 17.7 (5.6, 2.0, 4.1, 4.5, 1.4); IV 20.5 (5.9, 2.1, 5.1, 5.6, 1.8). Leg formula: II–IV I–III. Cheliceral furrow with 3 promarginal, 4 retromarginal teeth and ca. 36 denticles.
Copulatory organ as in diagnosis. Epigynal field roughly as wide as long, with separated and fragmented anterior bands. Median septum broadest in anterior third, being almost four times broader than posteriormost section. Anterior part of internal duct system with slightly more than one winding until turning point and slightly narrower than posterior part. Glandular pores of internal duct system posteriad to postero-mediad. Fertilization ducts separated by one width of posterior part of internal duct system ( Figs 10A–C View FIGURES 10 ).
Colouration in ethanol. Dorsal shield of prosoma with lighter yellowish-brown median band with few patches behind eyes and one patch at anterior end of fovea, and with darker lateral sides, with two dark patches posteriorly consisting of dark setae. Chelicerae reddish-brown, with three longitudinal bands. Labium, sternum and gnathocoxae pale-yellowish to yellowish-brown. Opisthosoma dorsally pale-yellowish to yellowish-brown, with irregular markings including a dark transversal patch in posterior half, ventrally pale-yellowish to yellowish-brown without distinct pattern except for few dots in front of spinnerets ( Figs 10D–E View FIGURES 10 ).
Scars. Right gnathocoxa with one irregular scar ventrally.
Distribution. Vietnam (Ninh Binh Province) ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 ).
