Holotype:— Ulmus crassifolia Nutt.

Notes:— Schneider (1917) attributed the name to Schneider (1916), but the name does not appear there. Ulmus crassifolia is the only species cited in the protologue.

Notes:—This name is superfluous since the protologue of this section included the generitype, Ulmus campestris , in synonymy (Art. 52.1 of the ICN).
