Eyes ovoid ( Fig. 5A View FIGURE 5 ). Ocelli indistinct. Anterior margin of pronotum convex in the middle, posterior margin generally convex; lateral lobes longer than deep, ventral margin nearly straight ( Fig. 5C View FIGURE 5 ). Tegmina mesopterous, reaching posterior margin of eighth abdominal tergite; hind wings as long as tegmina.

Fore coxa with a spine at fore margin ( Fig. 6C View FIGURE 6 ); fore and mid femora unarmed ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 AB); fore and mid tibiae dorsally unarmed ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 AB); fore tibiae ventrally with 4 external and 3 internal spines and one pair of smaller spurs; mid tibiae ventrally with 3 pairs of spines and one pair of smaller spurs; hind femora ventrally with 4 external spinules; hind tibiae dorsally with 6 internal spinules, 5 external spinules and one pair of apical spurs, ventrally with one preapical spines and 2 apical spurs on both sides. External margin of hind femora with a long furrow ( Fig. 6E View FIGURE 6 ).

Eighth abdominal tergite prolonged ( Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ). Ninth abdominal tergite curved downwards, furrowed along midline into 2 lobes, apical area prolonged into a long spiniform process with finely granular surface which crossed and pointed inside ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 AC). Notes. This new species is similar to Larnaca (Larnaca) emarginata in the shape of apex of male abdomen, but can be easily distinguished from the latter by: the length of tegmina, L. emarginta is extremely short, while the new species is much longer; head of L. emarginta is general black with 2 yellow lateral ocelli and one enlarged ocellus, while head of the new species is yellowish brown with indistinct ocelli.

Etymology. This species is named after the title character of film WALL-E. In the film, rampant consumerism, corporate greed, and environmental neglect have turned planet Earth into a garbage-strewn wasteland in the 29th century. Robot WALL-E is a Waste Allocation Load Lifter of Earth, whose single task is to collect and compact garbage under sandstorm skies to restore the planet humanity has destroyed until his battered processors wind down. The film underlines the message that if we don’t take care of the only planet we inhabit, it won’t be able to support us.

Distribution. Yunnan, China (Yingjiang).

Larnaca (Larnaca) infolda Du, Bian & Shi, 2017 (内叠原Ṟ⁂) http://lsid.speciesfile.org/urn:lsid: Orthoptera .speciesfile.org:TaxonName: 496382

Larnaca (Larnaca) infolda: Du, Bian & Shi, 2017 . Zootaxa, 4231(4): 585; Cadena-Castañeda, 2019. Zootaxa, 4605(1): 78; Bian, Liu & Yang, 2021. Zootaxa, 4969(2): 225.

Type specimen: male; Kind of type: holotype; Type locality: Mengla, Mengyuan , Yunnan ; Location of type specimen: Museum of Hebei University, Baoding, Hebei, China .

Notes. Larnaca (Larnaca) squamiptera Ingrisch, 2018 is described as a new species based on one female specimen from Thailand, according to the strongly reduced tegmen, and the distinct hieroglyphic pattern of black lines and dots on pronotum compared to other species. After checking the descriptions of Larnaca (Larnaca) infolda from China, we found the two species share all the same characteristics except the depth of the notch on posterior margin of female subgenital plate. More specimens from type locality of the two species need to be checked to determine its effectiveness.

Distribution. Yunnan, China (Jinghong, Mengla).
