Material examined: Holotype male, TURKEY, Balıkesir, Edremit, Kaz Dağları National Park, Sarıkız Rd. , 39.68975°N, 26.90948°E, 1470m, 10.08.2010 (leg. B. Çıplak, S.Kaya & Z. Boztepe) ( MEVBIL) GoogleMaps ; Paratypes 6 males, 2 females, same data as holotype GoogleMaps .
Description and diagnosis: As mentioned for the previous new species, members of the genus are similar in general appearance. Thus, the generic description can be applied to all species for certain features of the head, thorax and abdomen ( Figures 4, 7, 10, 13, 16 View FIGURES 3–17. 3–5 , 19, 22, 25 View FIGURES 18–26. 18–20 , 27 View FIGURE 27 , 28 View FIGURES 28–30 , 31 View FIGURE 31 ; Tables 1–5 View TABLE 1 View TABLE 2 View TABLE 3 View TABLE 4 View TABLE 5 ). To avoid repetition, a detailed description is not presented here.
The new species B. balikesirensis sp. n. well differs from the other two by typical male cercus (tooth is near to middle in the first while in the beginning of apical 1/ 3 in the second; compare Figure 9 View FIGURES 3–17. 3–5 with 8 and 10). The male calling song consists of regular echemes including 10–26 (mean 18) syllables is another prominent diagnostic characteristic of B. balikesirensis sp. n. ( Figure 28 View FIGURES 28–30 ), distinguishing it from B. bursaensis sp. n. ( B. turkiyae is unknown for the song). In addition to morphology, the new species that corresponds to PG 2 in the phylogenetic tree ( Figure 2 View FIGURE 2 ) can be well distinguished from the other two by 71 unique mutations ( Figure 31 View FIGURE 31 ). The high net pairwise distances and F ST values with other phylogroups also support its distinctness as a species ( Table 3 View TABLE 3 ). This species seems to be restricted to the Kazdagları Mts in Balıkesir Province of Turkey ( Figure 1 View FIGURE 1 ).
Etymology: The new species Bolua balikesirensis was recorded from Kazdağları Mts located in Balıkesir Province of Turkey.
