Arthroleptis xenochirus Boulenger, 1905 View in CoL
Plain Squeaker
Material. LUKWAKWA: BMNH 2018.5811 ( Fig. 3B View Fig ), BMNH 2018.5812–13; HILLWOOD FARM: BMNH 2018.5814–20; NKWAJI: BMNH 2018.5821– 25. Comments: Specimens were found in leaf litter in Cryptosepalum and mushito. All specimens have a very small tympanum and relatively large inner metatarsal tubercle (when compared to A. xenodactyloides ). The closest match on GenBank (94%) is to A. xenodactyloides from Malawi ( FJ 151103). There is no sequence of A. xenochirus available for comparison.
