Diagnosis: Length 80–190 mm, diameter 4–9 mm, setae distant.Colour dark grey with reddish iridescence. First dorsal pore between 5/6 and 7/8. Clitellum on ½24, 25–30; tubercles on 25, 26–29, 30. Male pore on segment 26. Nephridial pores irregulated. Three or four pairs of vesicles in 9, 11, 12 or 9–12; spermathecae three to five pairs in 6/7–10/11 d. Calciferous glands in segment ½10–12 with diverticula in 11. The last pair of hearts in 11, with a pair of small extraesophageal vessels in 12. Nephridial bladders are biscuit-shaped.
