Distribution. Brazil (Minas Gerais and Goiás [new record] states) ( Fig. 39 View FIGURE 39 ).
Remarks. In addition to the diagnostic characters included in the original description of X. jaguare , this species is also distinguished by having segment V of the maxillary palps very reduced, being smaller than all other preceding segments ( Figs 23, 24 View FIGURES 20–26 , arrows). Furthermore, the eyes are distinctly large ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 20–26 ). The species occurs on the Paraná and Tocantins Basins, with records from the Cerrado of Minas Gerais and Goiás states ( Fig. 39 View FIGURE 39 ).
