DÉTERMINATION. — Morphologique. Moléculaire (BOLD:ABZ7641 et ABZ7642).

LOCALITÉ TYPE. — Guyane ( Dyar 1913).

RÉPARTITION GÉOGRAPHIQUE. — Guyano-amazonienne ( Lemaire 2002).

REMARQUE TAXONOMIQUE. — Le taxon Hylesia rex pourrait représenter un complexe d’espèces en Guyane (FB, obs. pers.).

DISTRIBUTION EN GUYANE. — Connu des trois zones biogéographiques.

HABITAT EN GUYANE. — Forêt primaire.
