Note: All specimens examined are of a similar size, 12–13 mm in total length between the anterior margin of the clypeus and the elytral apices. They present little variations of color among them, i.e., the yellow markings on pronotum and elytra are similar among males ( Figs. 129-131 ), and also among females ( Fig. 132 ). Although the specimens were found in desertic areas of western Argentina ( Fig. 133 ), it is necessary to know the real taxonomic status and aspect of M. argentina , described from Corrientes and with a similar length (see note 2 below M. argentina ), before it is decide if these specimens belong to a new species.
