Heresiarches flavomaculatus Riedel, 2013
Material. Indonesia: W Bali, nr Negara, rainforest above Batuagung , c 575 m, 4 ♂♂ 4–13.xii.1991, Mal. trap 1, leg. C. van Achterberg (Leiden) .
Remarks. Small, body length 8.0– 10.5 mm. Flagellum with 31 flagellomeres. Hind femur reddish basally, black apically. Apical margin of postpetiole and 2 nd to 4 th tergites reddish, following tergites black; 1 st to 2 nd or 3 rd tergites with ivory posterolateral spots, 5 th or 6 th to 7 th tergites with apical ivory margins. The structure and colour pattern of these ♂♂ largely resemble Heresiarches daedalus ( Tosquinet, 1903) from Java. Probably, H. flavomaculatus represents only a colour variant of the latter species.
Distribution. Known from Myanmar, new record for Bali.
