Description. ♀. Body length 6.1 mm.

Head. Flagellum with 27 flagellomeres, slender and slightly lanceolate; 1 st flagellomere 5.7 × longer than wide, about 12 th flagellomere square, widest flagellomeres 1.3 × wider than long. Temple very short, strongly and roundly narrowed behind eye, dorsally 0.2 × as long as eye. OED 1.2 × and OOD 1.2 × ocellar diameter. Frons smooth and shining, with few very fine punctures. Face rather densely punctate, smooth; inner eye margins divergent ventrally. Clypeus flat, large, 2.5 × wider than long, with sparse punctures; apical margin sharp and slightly bulging medially (fig. 1A). Malar space 0.7 × as long as width of mandibular base. Gena with very sparse punctures. Genal carina reaching hypostomal carina close to mandibular base.

Mesosoma . Side of pronotum smooth and shining, with few fine punctures at dorsal margin. Notaulus impressed in frontal 1/4 of mesoscutum. Mesoscutum with dense superficial punctures, shining. Sternaulus distinctly impressed in frontal 0.4 of mesopleuron. Epicnemial carina low, dorsally reaching subtegular ridge. Mesopleuron with rather dense punctures ventrally, smooth and shining dorsally, with few fine punctures below subtegular ridge. Metapleuron with rather dense punctures, shining; juxtacoxal carina present. Scutellum moderately elevated, 1.2 × wider than long, with rather dense punctures, strong lateral carina in basal 0.7. Propodeum (fig. 1B) completely carinated, with small but distinct apophysis; spiracle small and short-oval.Area basalis trapezoid, wider than long.Area superomedia 1.3 × wider than long, almost smooth; costula reaching at 4/10 of its length. Area petiolaris and area posteroexterna transversally striated. Hind coxa densely punctate, without scopa. Hind femur densely punctate, 3.6 × longer than wide. Claws simple. Areolet pentagonal, frontal distance between veins 2rs-m and 3rs-m 2 × their diameter. Vein 1cu-a slightly antefurcal by 1.0 × its width (fig. 1D). Nervellus of hind wing slightly inclivous, intercepted in its apical 0.8. Fore wing covered with sparse setae in basal half, setae shorter than the interval between them.

Metasoma. Strongly amblypygous. Petiole 1.3 × wider than high. Postpetiole moderately widened, coarse rugose-punctate, without latero-median carina; median field not separated. Gastrocoelus strongly impressed, large and almost square, with some longitudinal ridges. Thyridium transverse, about as wide as the interval between thyridia (fig. 1C). 2 nd tergite 1.2 × wider than long. 2 nd to 3 rd tergites densely rugose-punctate, dull. Following tergites with superficial punctures, ± shining. 2 nd to 4 th sternites with median folds. Ovipositor sheath and ovipositor narrow.

Colour. Black with extensive ivory marks.Scape and pedicel brownish, with ivory ventral spots; flagellum black, flagellomeres 5–13 with ivory rings. Palps, mandible except teeth, clypeus, face except black median stripe, wide orbits completely, frontal and upper margins of pronotum, tegula, subtegular ridge, large spot of ventral mesopleuron, scutellum and postscutellum, upper division of metapleuron, apical half of metapleuron and propodeum (except black area petiolaris), base of petiole and apical margin of postpetiole, basal half and apical margin of 2 nd tergite, basal band (widened laterally) and apical median spot of 3 rd tergite, 5 th to 7 th tergite almost completely, folds of 2 nd to 4 th sternites and apical margin of 5 th sternite ivory. Fore and mid coxae, all trochanters and fore and mid trochantelli ivory; hind coxa black, ivory dorsally and apically. Femora, tibiae and tarsi reddish; hind femur diffusely brownish in apical third; hind tibia and hind metatarsus ochreous, infuscate apically; hind tarsus otherwise black.
