Residual syntypes: IRAN. Prov. Kerman: in regione subalpina M. Kuh-e Nasr , 2900 m, 4 July 1892, J. F. N. Bornmüller 4258 ( B _10_ 0296178!, JE00012303 !, JE00012304 !, K001097416 !, LD1752198 !) ; in regione subalpine Kuh-e Laleh Zar , 3600 m, 18 July 1892, J. F. N. Bornmüller 4257 ( B _10_0296174!, B _10_0296177!, B _10_0296179!) .
Note: Three syntypes collections (Bornmüller 4259, Bornmüller 4258 and Bornmüller 4257) were cited by Bornmüller (1899) in the protologue of Celsia carmanica ( Verbascum carmanicum ). The sheet “ Bornmüller 4259 ” preserved at B is here selected as lectotype because it contains leaves, flowers, and inflorescences that are better developed than the other sheets, and the characters of the specimen agree closely with the protologue.
Distribution:— Endemic to Iran.
