Distribution: Philippines (Greater Luzon: Laguna Los Baños, Aurora Province *).

Type depository: Agelasta violaceicornis Heller, 1921 , holotype, Bureau of Science , Manila. Holotype totally lost during World War II. All beetle specimens stored in the Bureau were destroyed during the war. At present, PNM is rebuilding its beetle collections.
