Diagnosis. This species is easily recognized by having the harpe wide with dorsal margin straight and apex short and folded ventrad, the outer lobes of aedeagal dorsal valve with a small constriction in the middle and the basal cover plate narrow and very incurved.

Description. Head. Mandible with two distal teeth. Median clypeal lobe trapezoidal, with one angulate tooth; median clypeal carina low in profile, complete or nearly so, straight in profile or nearly so. Frons coriaceous, punctures large and dense. Vertex crest weakly incurved. Dorsal pronotal area with anterior margin coarse. Tergal process submedian, consisting of tuft with few setae, without depression. Posterior hypopygeal margin straight or nearly so. Genitalia. Harpe entirely wide, apical margin rounded, abaxial margin not projected; gonostipes same size or nearly so, ventral margin not excavated until outer margin of basivolsella; digitus short, basidorsal corner strongly projected; basivolsella without protuberance, without spines; aedeagal ventral valve with apex aligned with apex of dorsal one, evenly narrow; inner margin straight; outer margin straight, parallel; aedeagal dorsal valve narrow, with two pairs of apical lobe; outer lobe short, narrow, apical margin rounded and posterad; apex of inner median filament anterior to apex of lobe, directed dorsad; basal cover plate entirely narrow, posterior margin completely incurved; apodeme extending beyond genital ring.

Distribution. Ecuador.

Etymology. This species is named after Clarice Lispector, one the most important Brazilian writers.

Remarks. It is similar to D. gomidae sp. nov. by having the aedeagal dorsal valve narrow, the harpe wide, and the apex of inner median filament short. However, D. lispectorae sp. nov. has apex of the harpe short and pointed, aedeagal dorsal outer lobes with a constriction, and the basivolsellar protuberance poorly delimited, whereas D. gomidae sp. nov. has apex of the harpe wide and not pointed, aedeagal dorsal outer lobes without constriction and the basivolsellar protuberance well delimited.
