Description of Acinetobacter pitti LPB 0223
Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated and cocci-shaped. Colonies are circular, entire, convex, smooth and cream-colored after 3 days of incubation on TSY at 37° C. Negative reactions are obtained for cytochrome oxidase, nitrate reduction, indole production, arginine dihydrolase, urease, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase and β -galactosidase in API 20NE. Does not utilize D- glucose, L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- mannitol, N -acetyl-glucosamine, D- maltose and potassium gluconate. Strain LPB0223 About LPB (= NIBRBAC000502420) was isolated from a human sample, Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul, Korea .
