Diagnosis. Mandibular plates as long as clypeus. Proportions of antennomeres: 1 ≈ 2> 3> 4 <5 ( Fig. 74–75 View FIGURES 73–82 ). Posterior margins of bucculae reaching base of head. Labium short, ending between pro- and mesocoxae ( Fig. 75 View FIGURES 73–82 ). Proportions of labiomeres: 1 <2> 3> 4. Each peritreme of ESES reaching about 1/3 of the distance to lateral margin of evaporatorium. Median furrow of the peritreme short, reaching less than half of peritreme. Evaporatorium on mesopleuron reaching less than half of the segment. Gyrification of evaporatorium with low wrinkles. Metathoracic spiracle narrow ( Fig. 76 View FIGURES 73–82 ). Hemelytra surpassing the abdominal apex ( Figs 56 View FIGURES 55–59 , 73 View FIGURES 73–82 ). Connexivum exposed, angles concolour with dorsal color ( Fig. 73 View FIGURES 73–82 ). Circular spiracles, spiracle of abdominal sternite 2 covered by metathorax. Mesial area adjacent to spiracles without callosity.

Measurements. See Table 1 View TABLE 1 .

Male genitalia. Posterolateral angles of pygophore quadrate ( Figs 27–29 View FIGURES 27–38 ). Genital cup occupying less than half of pygophore length. Extension of dorsal rim obsolete ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 27–38 ). Layers of ventral rim not separated by a carina; area between layers excavated ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 27–38 ). Inferior layer of ventral rim without processes ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 27–38 ). Phallus ( Figs 77–79 View FIGURES 73–82 ): Dorsal connectives short, reaching the middle of phallotheca. Processus capitati longer, reaching phallotheca distal margin. Dorsal processes of phallotheca medially narrow, longer than posterodorsal projections.

Female genitalia. Valvifers 8 flat, posterior margins straight. Valvifers 9 flat, with anterior margins concave and posterior margins straight; sclerotized lateral arms attaining anterior margins of laterotergites 9 ( Fig. 80 View FIGURES 73–82 ). Proximal ductus receptaculi convoluted, extremely long, at least three times longer than vesicular area. Distal ductus receptaculi convoluted, long, at least one time longer than vesicular area. Annular flanges divergent related to each other. Capsula seminalis globose ( Figs 52 View FIGURES 52–54 , 81–82 View FIGURES 73–82 ).

Distribution. Brazil (Pará, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul); Uruguay (Montevideo); Argentina (Santa Fé, and Entre Rios) ( Fig. 111 View FIGURE 111 ).

Remarks. This species is reported in the literature in association with rice ( Oriza sativa L.) ( Krinski et al. 2015; Barros et al. 2021).
