Type locality and specimens. Aqaba, Jordan. Holotype, female, 3.6 mm; BMNH 1991.7.1.
Material examined. No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on description by Lyons & Myers (1991).
Diagnosis (female). Truncate anterior head margin. Vestigal accessory flagellum. Coxa 1 with facial setae. Gnathopod 2 propodus mediofacial setal row displaced to midline, palm with three large tubercles. Coxae 3–4 with setose distal margins. Pereopods 5–7 bases narrowly expanded. Epimeron 1 with anteroventral tuft of setae. Epimeron 3 posteroventral corner sinuous with simple cusp. Telson apex bidentate with marginal setae.
Male (sexually dimorphic characters). Unknown.
Habitat. Habitat not reported; 1–10 m.
Host. Unknown.
Distribution. Red Sea: Aqaba, Jordan ( Lyons & Myers 1991).
