Material examined. No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on description by Myers & McGrath (1982).
Diagnosis. Gnathopod 1 coxa with serrate distal margin; propodus curved. Gnathopod 2 basis, ischium, merus with setose posterior margins; carpus with large subdistal tooth; propodus mediofacial setal row displaced to midline, palm with two large tubercles; dactylus with one tubercle. Pereopods 5–7 bases narrowly expanded. Epimeron 3 posteroventral corner sinuous with simple cusp. Freshly preserved specimens are white with distinct red spots on the body and coxae.
Female (sexually dimorphic characters). Gnathopod 2 carpus distally rounded; propodus much smaller than male, more rounded, palm dentate, primary mediofacial setal row less displaced and longer.
Habitat. Among shell gravel; 65 m.
Host. Unknown.
