Type locality and specimens. Tulear , Madagascar. Holotype, female, 4.8 mm; allotype, male, unmeasured.
Material examined. No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on description by Ledoyer (1972 c).
Diagnosis(female). Acute anterodistal head margin. Coxa 2 with acute anterodistal margin. Pereopods 5–7 bases narrowly expanded.
Note. Ledoyer’s descriptions of Leuocothoe angusticoxa are somewhat vague, although they all agree well with each other.
Male (sexually dimorphic characters). Unknown.
Habitat. Outer reef flat, among Turbinaria ; 0–150 m.
Host. Unknown.
Distribution. Western Indian Ocean: Tulear, Mauritius, Madagascar ( Ledoyer 1972; Ledoyer 1978a; Ledoyer 1979a; Ledoyer 1986).
