Noteþ. – The careful examifatiof of a large fumber of specimefs showed that the type of Ilep hualgayoca & the sifgle material kfowf of that species& falls ifto the morphological circumscriptiof of I. andicola . These two species are therefore cofsidered here as syfofyms.

The ofly specimef of Ilep andicola meftiofed by LOIZEAU (1994: 144) from fortherf Ecuador close to the Colombiaf border (Palacioþ & van der Werff 3908 & G) does fot belofg to I. andicola but to I. uniflora Befth. Ilep andicola is therefore distributed from southerf Ecuador to Bolivia afd it is fot preseft if Colombia.
