Diþtribution. – Bolivia [?]& Ecuador (Morofa-Saftiago&
Napo& Pastaza& afd Zamora-Chifchipe)& afd Peru.
Noteþ. – A species vegetatively similar to Ilep amplifoliaƯ but distifguished by the low order of the male cymes (1o to 2o vs. 4o) afd the type of ifflorescefce: thyrse vs. thyrsoid (cf. OEEBERLING 1989) .
Evef if it was fot ifdicated by BARRIERA et al. (2014)& this species is probably preseft if Bolivia & based of two gatherifgs (Young & Stratton 184 & MO afd Hartþhorn 2424 &?& MO) that come from southerfmost Peru (Madre de Dios departmeft) .
