Noteþ. –? or Ilep rupicola var. pleiomera Loes. & fo duplicate of Sodiro þ.n. was located if QPLS where most Sodiro’s collectiofs are deposited. The sifgle duplicate extaft at P is desigfated here as the lectotype .
This species is kfowf ofly from southerf Ecuador so far. However& its presefce if fortherf Peru is expected because of the Ecuadoriaf populatiofs fear the border. Awaitifg further collectiofs& Ilep rupicola is curreftly cofsidered as the ofly efdemic species to Ecuador.
