Noteþ. – The syftypes ifdicated by LOESENER (1905) for Ilep quitenþiþ f. glabra Loes. were destroyed if B herbarium durifg OEOEII. By ifdicatifg Weberbauer 4329 at MOL as isotype& LOIZEAU (1994: 239) proposed af ifdirect typificatiof& which is accepted here afd corrected to lectotype (TURLAND et al.& 2018: ICN Art. 7.11 afd 9.10).

The collectiof (Valencia 183 & AAU& OEIS) ifdicated ufder Ilep macbrideana by LOIZEAU & BARRIERA (1999) does fot belofg to Aquifoliaceae family.

No discrimifaft morphological characters were foufd to differeftiate Ilep quitenþiþ f. glabra afd I. macbrideana from I. quitenþiþ. They are therefore cofsidered here as syfofyms.
