Distribution. UNITED STATES: Hidalgo. (CMNC) (USNM).
Arizona, Santa Cruz Co., Nogales. MEXICO: 10 mi. NE Jacala,
Remarks. Male genitalia are slightly similar to those of C. beulah and both species were collected from southern Arizona. In addition to genitalia differences, C. laevis has a characteristic black ventral surface and much smoother appearing pronotum.
