Type species: Leclercera khaoyai Deeleman-Reinhold, 1995 .
Diagnosis. The genus can be distinguished from other Psilodercinae genera by the combination of following characters: 1) fovea short or a simple depression (deep depression in Althepus Thorell, 1898 ); 2) maxillae mesodistally rounded; 3) cheliceral retromargin with 2 teeth or denticles (toothless in Merzocera Fage, 1912 and Psiloderces Simon, 1892 ); 4) male palpal tibia or tarsus with retrolateral apophysis; 5) cymbium lacking lateral apophysis and lanceolate apophysis ( Deeleman-Reinhold 1995; Liu et al. 2017).
