Holotype: FMNH 41234 ( Marx 1958:450; erroneously cited as FMNH 55656 by Milstead, 1969:81); paratypes (11, but not listed in the original description), FMNH 41235, 41259-61, 47372- 74, 47376 and 55656 ( Marx 1958:450); MCZ 53931; and UMMZ 66472 (formerly FMNH 41258; Kluge 1984:83).
