Distribution. Russia: Far East (southern part of Sakhalin Island).

Remarks. This form was originally described from the southern part of Sakhalin Island as a type species of the new genus Sakhalineuma ( Golovatch 1976) , later transferred to Diplomaragna with synonymization of first genus as junior synonym of Diplomaragna ( Shear 1990) and then to the revalidated genus Sakhalineuma ( Mikhaljova 2000) . The original diagnosis of this species has been rectified after a study of topotypes (Mikhaljova 1996).
