Range: —Antilles; southern Mexico to Panama, Colombia and Venezuela to Bolivia (BE, CO, LP, SC, PA); Brazil and northeastern Argentina.
Ecology: —Common; arching epiphyte on tree trunks and large branches in humid forests; 150–1400 m.
Notes: —Often confused with Radiovittaria remota , which also has blades at least 1 cm wide, but R. remota has only a single line of areoles on each side of the midrib and the petioles are dark brown to purple-brown (vs. greenish).
