Range: — Bolivia (SC) and Brazil.
Ecology: —Rare (4 collections known), terrestrial in open vegetation; 150–500 m.
Notes: —Affinities uncertain, but probably allied to other Brazilian species. Rhizomes short-creeping; rachises glabrous; blades 3-pinnate proximally, pinnate distally; pinnules entire, orbicular to flabellate or subrhombic, stalked 1–5 mm, bases of pinnules broadly cuneate to truncate and usually asymmetric, pinnules glabrous on both sides; veins free, ending in teeth at pinnule margins; indusia lunate to round-reniform, sometimes becoming dark brown to black, glabrous.
