Range: — Mexico to Venezuela, Bolivia ( CH, CO, LP, SC, TA), and northwestern Argentina.
Ecology: —Fairly common; saxicolous and terrestrial among rocks and in rocky soil in semihumid forests, e.g., of Alnus , and above treeline; (1500–) 2100–3600 m.
Notes: —Blades deltate, delicate, glabrous, mostly 3-pinnate, with narrow, oblong segments; indusia extending onto the segment stalks.
