Coenosia sanguenguei Zielke, 1971 View in CoL

Diagnosis. Antenna dark brown, palpus brown on basal half and yellow on apical half; scutum with three brown vittae; legs brownish-yellow; fore tibia with a very long posterior seta.

Notes. The species was described only from the holotype female. According to Zielke (1971) the species runs to C. ruwenzorica (Emden) in Emden’s (1940) key, and can be separated by having 3 rather than 5 brown vittae on scutum. The data given here have been taken from Zielke’s original description as no material has been examined. The species is not represented in the BMNH collection.

Geographical distribution. Angola.
