REMARKS

This name is of doubtful application as no original material seemed to survive, the protologue does not permit to unambiguously identify this species other that its belonging to subg. Lacanthis .

Taxonomic synonym of Euphorbia splendens Bojer ex Hook. according to Denis (1921).
