REMARK

We chose to designate as an epitype the specimen collected by Bojer which was used by him to make the drawing sent to Hooker and on which he based the description and drawing (Bojer 1829: pl. 2902) of the plant which is the holotype of the name.

We consider this name to apply to a variety of Euphorbia milii , to be called Euphorbia milii Des Moul. var. splendens (Bojer ex Hook.) Ursch & Leandri.
