OTHER SYNTYPES. — “Jardin botanique de Tsimbazaza, à Tananarive, rapportée probablement de l’Isalo par le Pr Humbert ”, H . Perrier s.n. (syn-, P [ P00221824 ]!).— “Grès et sables siliceux, alt. 400-1000 m, fleurs en octobre”, Humbert 2786 (syn-, P! [ P00078016 , P00078017 ]) .
REMARK
Leandri published this name with the written indication “ sp. nov. interim. ”. But later, he rejected this name: “le nom E. isalensis […] doit être rejeté comme homonyme récent (différant par une seule lettre) d’une espèce douteuse” (the name E. isalensis […] must be rejected as a recent homonym (differing by a single letter) of a dubious species). The name however is validly published and all the original material survived, hence its inclusion in this part of the paper (see Euphorbia isaloensis Drake in the Incertae sedis section).
