Description. Male. Body large and stout. Fastigium verticis wider than scape. Face with transverse riffles and scattered impressed dots ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ). Ocelli distinct.

Anterior margin of pronotum projecting in middle, posterior margin widely arched ( Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 ); lateral lobes longer than high with a V-shaped furrow ( Fig. 2C–D View FIGURE 2 ). Fore coxae with 1 spine. Fore and middle femora unarmed on ventral surfaces; left hind femur with 8 internal and 7 external spines on ventral surface, while the right one with 10 pairs of spines. Fore and middle tibiae with 5 pairs of ventral spurs, including 1 pair of apical ones, middle tibiae with 1 internal spine on dorsal surface; hind tibiae with 6 pairs of spines on dorsal surface, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spurs, 1 pair of subapical ventral spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs. Wings slightly surpassing the apex of abdomen. Venation of tegmen simple ( Fig. 4C View FIGURE 4 ), all the veins free from base, with 5 anal veins. Third abdominal tergite with 3 remnant stridulatory pegs ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ). Eighth abdominal tergite slightly prolonged and directing downward ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ). Ninth abdominal tergite furrowed along the midline, in apical area with an oval swelling on both sides of midline prolonged at ventro-medial angle into a spine which crossed and pointing ventrad and inwards, apices acute ( Fig. 2G View FIGURE 2 ). Cerci long and incurved. Subgenital plate wider than long, the lateral margins convex, converging; posterior margin oblique on both sides and with a distinct, triangular concavity in middle ( Fig. 2H View FIGURE 2 ); styli inserted at middle areas of lateral margins of subgenital plate ( Fig. 2H View FIGURE 2 ).

Female (last instar nymph). The lateral margins of basal half in seventh abdominal sternite rounded, converging to apex after middle area; ventral surface in more than apical half convex with a large medial groove with smooth shining surface and provided before hind margin, lateral margins of groove gradually raised into a styliform process on each side ( Fig. 4C View FIGURE 4 ). Subgenital plate very short and wide, base covered by seventh sternite; posterior margin with an obtusely triangular concavity in middle, the lateral lobes obtuse ( Fig. 4C View FIGURE 4 ).

Coloration. Body yellow brown. Face red brown. Labrum, fastigium verticis between antennal cavities, margins of antennal cavities and antennae black. Ocelli yellowish. Eyes black. Dorsal surface of head with black patterns ( Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 ). Margins of pronotum black, disc with irregularly black spots and stripes ( Figs. 2B View FIGURE 2 , 3A View FIGURE 3 ). Tegmina orange brown, at tip semi-transparent white. Internal and external surfaces of all femora black, all tibiae and tarsi black. Abdomen red brown.

Measurements (mm). Male (holotype): BL 27.0, PL 7.2, TL 20.9, HFL 16.1.

Material examined. Holotype: male, Gulinjing, Maguan , Yunnan, June 11, 2022, coll. by Xiangjin Liu. Other specimen: 1 female last nymph, the other information as holotype.

Distribution. Yunnan (Maguan).

Discussion. The new species differs from Larnaca (Larnaca) walle Yin & Meng, 2021 and Larnaca (Larnaca) lieyongzhou Shen & Yin, 2022 by pronotum yellow brown with irregularly black patterns ( Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 ); male subgenital plate wider than long, the posterior margin between styli wider and slightly projected with triangular concavity ( Fig. 2H View FIGURE 2 ).

Etymology. Name derived from Latin nigr and macul, referring to pronotum yellow brown with irregularly black spots or stripes.
