This species was known from Canada (Alberta, British Columbia), USA (Colorado, Montana, Texas, Washington) ( Young y Perkins, 1984) and Mexico (Distrito Federal, Nuevo León) ( Martins et al., 1978; Ibáñez-Bernal, 2003). Ibáñez-Bernal et al. (2006) recorded this species in the state of Veracruz, with specimens collected in El Zapotal (Municipality of Colipa). The following is a new municipality record.

Material examined. Mexico: Veracruz, Municipality of Misantla, Paso Blanco, 25-02-2008, coffee plantation, Malaise trap, Brig. Ent. IV, col., 1 female.
