Lola lubrica (Setchell & N.L. Gardner) A. Hamel & G. Hamel (1929: 1094) .
TAXONOMIC STATUS: According to Guiry & Guiry (2014) this species is now regarded as a taxonomic synonym of Rhizoclonium lubricum Setchell & N. L. Gardner. Silva (1979b: 344) mentioned that the taxonomic status of this species is doubtful because the material on which genus is based is from the French Atlantic. At present, no one has reviewed its taxonomic status.
