Host and locality in Australia: Charadrius melanops, Brooking Springs , Western Australia ( Dabert & Atyeo 1993); Elseyornis melanops, Brooling Springs (sic), Western Australia; E. melanops, Beverley , Western Australia ( Dabert 2003).
Current name of host: Black-fronted Dotterel, Elseyornis melanops (Vieillot, 1818) ( Charadriiformes : Charadriidae ).
Notes: The new combination Dabertia indistincta ( Dabert &Atyeo, 1993) comb. nov. is necessary because Dabertia Özdikmen, 2008 is a replacement name for Longipedia Dabert, 1992 .
