Type species: Notodasus magnus Fauchald, 1972
Diagnosis (after García-Garza et al. 2009). Thorax with 12 segments including an achaetous peristomium and 11 chaetigers with bilimbate capillary chaetae. First chaetiger biramous. First two abdominal chaetigers with bilimbate capillaries on both rami, following one with hooded hooks. Lateral organs and branchiae present.
