Liophlaeothrips amoenus Ananthakrishnan 1966: 7 –9.

This species was described originally from 20 macropterous females collected from grass.

Specimens studied. Two female paratypes (one macroptera and one brachyptera), India: Maharashtra: Mahabaleshwar, grass, 25.i.1965, TNA 205, NPC.

Distribution. India (Maharashtra: Mahabaleshwar).
