The Gynaikothrips View in CoL - Liophloeothrips - Liothrips complex

Ananthakrishnan & Muraleedharan (1974) referred to one group of Phlaeothripidae as the Gynaikothrips - Liophloeothrips - Liothrips complex. The biology of the species included seems to involve leaf-feeding and gall-inducing. The three genera in this complex can be distinguished with the following key.
