Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from all other Oriental species of the genus by the following characters: upper mandibular tooth longer than lower one ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES13–17 ), malar space 0.5 × as long as basal width of mandible, face yellow ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES13–17 ), middle and hind coxae, and hind femur black, metasoma beyond T1 reddish ( Figs 13, 17 View FIGURES13–17 ). This species is similar to the Palaearctic species E. taigensis Kasparyan 1985 , but differs by slightly longer malar space (0.5 × as long as basal width of mandible), longer T1 (1.78 × as long as apically broad, Fig. 13 View FIGURES13–17 ), black coloration around clypeal fovea and clypeal groove ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES13–17 ), and hind femur ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES13–17 ).
