Material examined: 1 male, LAO, Hua Phan, near Ban Saleui, 20°13'30''N, 103°59'26''E, 1350-1900 m, 3- 5.4.2014, KJa, leg. C. Holzschuh & locals (OLMG); 1 male, LAO, Hua Phan, near Ban Saleui, 20°13'30''N, 103°59'26''E, 1350-1900 m, 6- 11.4.2014, KJa, leg. C. Holzschuh & locals (OLMG).

Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from all other Oriental species of the genus by the following characters: lower mandibular tooth distinctly longer than upper one ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES18–22 ), face and lower part of mesopleuron sparsely and shallowly punctate ( Figs 20, 22 View FIGURES18–22 , 25 View FIGURES 23–25 ), inter-ocellar distance 0.5–0.56 times of ocellocular distance ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 23–25 ), fore and middle coxae and trochanters whitish-yellow ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES18–22 ), metasoma black with yellow posterior margins of T1–T7 ( Figs 18, 22 View FIGURES18–22 ). This species is similar to the Palaearctic species E. albilineatus Kasparyan, 1990 , but differs by lower mandibular tooth distinctly longer than upper one ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES18–22 ), distinct notauli ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 23–25 ), and entirely black face ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES18–22 ).
