Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from all other Oriental species of the genus by the following characters: T1 with weak flanges over glymmas, coxae and hind legs entirely black, face black, clypeus yellow. This species is similar to the Palaearctic species E. brevicornis Kasparyan, 1985 , but differs from the latter by longer malar space (0.5 × as long as basal width of mandible).
